If it was me, depending on how expensive the ball was, I'd get a second ball that is virtually identical to the one you have, and have it drilled after bowling a couple of games.

What would be the point in that? If you could have 2 or 20 grips that all fit different in THE SAME BALL and any other ball that you put the VISE IT locking system in. The lock system cost the same as a thumb slug the the only cost that higher is the rumba you have made they are not that much. A lot cheaper then a ball.

honestly it may have nothing to do with your ball, i experienced something like this about two years ago, and come to find out that it was the first signs of diabetes, i was over weight and had a drinking problem, i quit drinking and lost 116 pounds and now i dont have that problem anymore, but i experienced exactly what you are describing, and has something to do with circulation.

I don't like inserts. That's just my personal preference -- that's why I said, "If it was me..."

Well, I went and got bigger finger grips installed. Left the thumb alone. Went bowling and used the first game and tried messing around with different tapes in different holes, and ended up with a small piece of grip tape in the ring finger, nothing in the middle finger, and some tape in the thumb hole.
Next three games went 216, 243, 269. The 269 game was the most comfortable I have felt in that new DV8. I left a ringing 7 pin in the first frame, and hung a four pin in the 7th.

Those are great score so if it worked great but I have never heard of anyone using tape in the finger holes of a ball with finger grips.

It just felt a little looser than I wanted. I like my fingers to feel snug, and my fingers are always changing sizes. Going again tomorrow night. Wouldn't be a bit surprised to have to pull all the tape out.

Bowled one game tonight and had to pull the tape out if the finger hole. Figured with the humidity and temperature climbing that my hand would change sizes.
