    Default Drilling advice please

Hello I'd like some input on getting my new Brunswick Fanatic drilled. Thanks BowlingBoards.com! This is a good problem to have

This is how my Rocket is drilled. I like the ball but I feel like I don't really get in a groove with it until the lanes start to break down a bit, like maybe 6 or 7 frames in to the game (I bowl on a 5 person squad):

Here is me bowling with it on lanes that are kind of burnt up. I like the way it's reacting here, so what I would like from the Frantic is a reaction like this, but on fresh THS conditions.

Also the Fanatic is a pearl, the Rocket is a hybrid. If they are drilled identical would the Frantic theoretically be a "stronger" ball on fresh oil? I'm probably overthinking this lol

Check out the Lane Side Reviews video on the Fanatic as a possible drilling.

There's more variables in play than just "Pearl and hybrid".

Without knowing your pap it'll be difficult to give a layout to compliment the one you you if we don't know what it is to start.

You've got the wrong ball the Fanatic is a great ball but it's less aggressive than the rocket in it's intended form. The Fanatic has less surface and a weaker cover stock than the rocket. Unless you get pretty extreme with the drill and change the surface the Fanatic will require a mover right with your feet and target. I would suggest either trading the fanatic for something more aggressive or accept it as a ball that will allow you to ball down from the Rocket or play farther right with.

From what I've read the Fanatic has a surface of 500, while the Rocket has a surface of 1500. Wouldn't this mean the fanatic has more surface? Coverstock I'm not sure about, it's my very general understanding that a pearl coverstock will react sooner than a resin or hybrid once they hit the "dry" part of the lane.
