Well good and bad tonight. On a good note our whole team crushed it tonight. We average 212, 221 and 192 (1062, 1104, 960) across the board each game scratch and our team average with the 5 guys we had was 938. We still lost the first game. I was able to use the Igniter all night and not move at all but did adjust speed a few times. Rolled 24 strikes. Now for the bad...I was 0/2 on 7 pins and missed a 3 pin. I had a 686 and my spare shooting cost me a 700. Started game 3 with too slow of a ball leaving the big 4. Adjusted speed after that shot.

Tough night tonight. Lanes were very dry. Went early and threw 2 games of only spare shooting. Definitely helped. Strikes were very hard to come by tonight though. I tried my favorite line out around the 7 board. Every ball I tried and tried untucking my pinky and still too high. Moved in to the 10 board with my 'weakest' ball and still overhooking. By the end of the night I was back to using my Igniter (my mid-range ball) and throwing in around 13 board. That is probably the furthest in I have played all year and definitely out of my comfort zone but it's all I had. We won the first game by about 95 but lost the 2nd by 9 and lost the 3rd by about 70 so got total pins too. Oh...and my first ball of the night was a gutter. I had been testing the edge in warm-ups then the first few frames was getting out to about the 2 board and not on purpose.

Another tough night. Lanes very dry again. Had to throw about 1.5 MPH faster than normal to keep the ball on the left side of the lane. Used the Igniter all night and that is my weakest ball I have right now. Talked to my PSO tonight about a Hammer Raw pearl.

Started game 1 with 3 splits in the first 4 frames and 5 opens to start so a 160 was a pretty good finish. Thought I had my spare shooting figured out but apparently not. Was pretty tired though from throwing so hard so maybe that had an effect. Not sure.

Kind of an odd night. Seemed like I should have had much higher scores but they weren't Had lots of strikes and not that many opens (for me anyway) and only had a 603. Picked up a new Raw Hammer pearl tonight and expect to use it later in the night. Struggled late the last few weeks cause my lines dried up and I had to throw pretty hard to keep it on my side. Threw it a couple of shots tonight but it wasn't much different than my Igniter although the lanes weren't as dry tonight. Might try hitting it with a P5000 to help it in the dry. Used the Igniter all night except about 4 or 5 frames I tried the Hammer.

Blame the crazy way that bowling is scored. If you aren't stringing your strikes together they are not worth significantly more than spares. The first game when you were putting them together 2 and 3 at a time you had a couple of opens which kept you in the two teens.

Decent night. Actually 669 is better than decent but disappointed with my last game. Threw 3 splits and left a 7 pin so hence my frustration. Used my new Altered Reality all 3 games. Love it. By far the most versatile ball I have had.

Tough night. Problem wasn't me or the ball. Lanes were jacked. All bowlers from both teams struggled. Don't think any of us 10 bowlers hit our average. Will detail that more in the other thread. Went in early for practice and rolled 210 and everything worked as it should. Then moved to our league pair and it fell apart. Good thing was we won all 3 games.
