DV8 Misfit
All of my balls are for medium to heavy oil and I didnt think of all this before league... When I was landing on my right foot I knew how to adjust properly and although not doing bad landing on my left foot I am still having trouble making some adjustments... tonight the oil broke down and allmy balls were hooking way hard. Even moving to the left worked some but when it hit the pocket it was kind of weak and I know this is due to me changing my approach along with my speed. Anyways main question I was getting to is I need a ball for dry to light oil anyone care to suggest something.

it says that the misfit is for medium lanes should I just get it drilled weaker?

Roto Grip Scream or Shout,Track 300T,Brunswick Slingshot or Karma,Ebonite Cyclone,Hammer Vibe or you could take your 508A up to 4000 with polish and see if that helps cut some of the hook down.

I just want to give a negative vote to the dv8 misfit. It's never worked well for me. But you do have to have some oil for it to work.
Dry; Storm Natural Pearl Medium-dry; DV8 Misfit pin up

Another option; use your medium oil or heavy oil ball, take half the revs out of it and throw it straight up 10.

I've noticed how to fix when the ball is going in weak!
You're most likely playing along the middle am I right? Well I'll tell you how I fixed it,
First of all I'm lefty so you should switch everything to righty side
I start off at 19th board,
aim at 3rd arrow and want the ball to stay at the 2nd arrow before breaking into the pocket.
Well I noticed when I would throw the ball far out 1st arrow, usually due to a bad release, the ball would still look like it was going in for a strike but left me nasty splits.
The conclusion I came to was because since the ball has to fight against the oil it loses revs, so when the ball hits in the pocket it's usually weak and leaves a nasty split.
How I fixed this was by noticing what I was doing when I was releasing. I was releasing the ball to early, making it go too far out and weak when it goes in.
All I had to do was aim about 2 boards from my mark, and the ball would stay along the 2nd arrow.
