I looked and I don't see anything. The only other bowling forum I've thought about joining was bowlingcommunity.com. I almost joined there when my initial attempt here was blocked by the raging auto-security feature. But once Bowl1820 fixed it...I guess I don't have the time or motivation to be a member of EVERY bowling site that exists.Originally Posted by vdubtx

Don't worry Ice....I got your back. They got 1000 users but how many would they have if they didn't do ball giveaways. You KNOW thats why people join a site like that! As soon as a site does some kind of giveaway...all the sudden there are like 3000 members...and 24 active members. Even on this site...as soon as a new ball giveaway gets announced....BAMM....30 new members...each one going into the giveaway thread saying, "Pick me, Please!"
Iceman was right for exposing Bill. Granted...being used to being hated on the internet...and kicked out of a forum or two...I may have counciled him to maybe go a little softer. There's ways to expose those who are dishonest....without lighting a bag of POO on fire and leaving it on their doorstep. It takes more time....careful planning....but far less likely to lead to banning.

When Bowl1820 finally leaves to go moderate that site....and all these other folks go over there...to be rid of the anarchy and the insesscant ramblngs of you and I....we will still be here....hopelessly trying to find me a girlfriend....like true bowlers should.
Nothing weird about it, the online bowling community is small. Most of us that have been around awhile are on most of the bowling boards.

I'm one of the moderators on that other site, and noone is doing any badmouthing, and certainly no moderator is fanning any flames. While a lot of the same members are on both sites, there is very little crossover in terms of content. Can't everyone just get along?

Why is that? I mean, with bowling being "every man's game" (or WOman's)...you'd think there'd be more activity online. Oh well. More chances for me to win a bowling ball I geuss.
Because it isn't that big of a spectator sport, not a lot of rivalries among fans to create arguements. I mean look at this site, you don't see much in the way of arguements between Hammer and Columbia bowling ball people. Without that level of passion or controversy it is hard to build large, highly active communities.
This thread seems like nothing but flame bait.
I never go to that other site, and have no idea why we're talking about it on this one.
